Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of Soloco

2026/06/25

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Soloco, a local-first orchestration product for long-running AI work. Soloco is provided by BLUE STAR TRADING LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong (registered address: RM C, 6/F, WORLD TRUST TOWER, 50 STANLEY STREET, CENTRAL, HK) ("we", "us"). By installing or using Soloco, you agree to these Terms.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Soloco on machines you control, in accordance with these Terms and any plan you have purchased. The software is licensed, not sold.

Your Local Runs and AI Providers

  • Soloco runs on your own machine and coordinates AI agent runtimes that you install and authenticate (such as Claude Code or Codex), using your own provider subscription.
  • You are responsible for your use of those AI providers, including any usage fees, rate limits, and compliance with their terms.
  • You are responsible for the goals you set, the actions your agents take on your machine, and the outputs they produce.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Soloco to:

  • Break the law or infringe the rights of others
  • Generate or distribute malware, or attack systems you are not authorized to access
  • Violate the terms of any AI provider or third-party service you connect
  • Resell or redistribute the software except as expressly permitted

Intellectual Property

Soloco, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by us and protected by applicable law. Content you create with Soloco, and files produced by your agents on your machine, remain yours.

Optional Improvement Program

Soloco offers an optional program to help us improve the product. Only if you give explicit, separate consent, we collect the inputs and outputs of your agent runs as samples and use them to improve and develop Soloco and its underlying models, as described in our Privacy Policy. You continue to own your content; by opting in, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use the collected samples for those purposes. This consent is separate from these Terms and from your account: you may decline it and keep using Soloco, and you may withdraw it at any time in Settings. Declining or withdrawing keeps that run data on your device only.

Payment and Plans

Paid plans are billed through our third-party payment provider. Fees and billing cycles are shown at the point of purchase. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. We may change pricing for future billing periods with notice.

Soloco is a digital software product; no physical goods are shipped. Once your payment succeeds, the corresponding plan is delivered electronically and activated on your account: it is normally provisioned instantly, within a few minutes of a successful payment, and in no case later than 24 hours. If your plan is not activated within that time, please contact us and we will resolve it.

No Warranty

Soloco is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. AI agents can make mistakes; you are responsible for reviewing their output before relying on it.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or AI-provider costs, arising from your use of Soloco.

Termination

You may stop using Soloco at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Law of Hong Kong). Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Hong Kong. If you use Soloco from another jurisdiction, you remain responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you locally.
